12-36V BLDC Motor Controller with 15A Continuous Current & RPM Pulse Output

12-36V BLDC Motor Controller with 15A Continuous Current & RPM Pulse Output

Application Notes:

1. Motor Compatibility
   - Verify the motor’s voltage and power ratings must not exceed the driver board’s rated specifications.

2. Application Scope & Adjustments
   - Designed exclusively for sensorless BLDC motors. Not all 3-phase motors are compatible.
   - If issues arise (e.g., startup jitter, reverse rotation, high current, unstable speed, or load failure),
adjust individual component parameters to optimize performance.

3. Thermal Management
   - No forced cooling required for motors ≤60W (ensure ventilation).
   - Heat sink mandatory for motors >60W. Follow insulation guidelines (see diagram).

4. Reverse Polarity Warning
   - No reverse polarity protection. Incorrect power connection will cause permanent damage.

5. 5V Port Usage
   - 5V output port: Strictly for external potentiometers/switches (speed/direction control).
      Do NOT connect external devices.

6. M Port Specifications
   - M port: Motor speed pulse output (push-pull output). Max output current: <5mA.

Wiring Diagram
12-36V BLDC Motor Controller with 15A Continuous Current & RPM Pulse Output

1. Control Ports (Right Side)
5V: Internal output voltage (driver board).
M: Motor speed pulse signal output (5V pulse signal).
 ● Z/F: Forward/reverse control port.
     - Connect to 5V (high level) or leave unconnected for unidirectional rotation.
     - Connect to 0V (low level) or ground for reverse rotation.
   VR: Speed control port.
     - Analog voltage speed regulation: 0.1V–5V (linear adjustment).
     - PWM speed control requires a common ground with the driver board.
  ● GND: Control circuit ground.

2. Power Ports (Left Side)
  ● MA, MB, MC: Three-phase motor terminals.
  ●  GND: DC power supply negative (-).
  ●  VCC: DC power supply positive (+).

3. Critical Notes
  ●  Motor wires should not exceed recommended lengths. The driver relies on Back Electromotive
Force (BEMF) detection. Excessively long wires may cause signal interference.
   ●  Control ports: 2.54mm pitch connectors.
 ●  Power ports: 3.96mm pitch connectors.
   ●  Insulation is mandatory when installing heat sinks or mounting the driver board (refer to insulation guidelines).
