Hall Sensor Brushless DC Motor Driver Board 7-48V 10A, PWM/Analog Speed Control, -20°C to 85°C
Application Notes
1. Motor Parameter Verification
• Voltage & Power: Confirm the motor’s voltage and power parameters must not exceed the driver board’s
specified limits (e.g., 7-48V DC, 8A continuous/10A peak).
2. Compatibility & Wiring Adjustments
• Applicability: Designed for 120-degree Hall sensor-equipped brushless DC motors.
• Wiring Flexibility:
- Not all manufacturers’ phase sequences (motor or Hall sensor) align with the driver board.
- Adjust the Hall sensor wiring or motor phase sequence for optimal performance.
3. Thermal Management & Ventilation
• Bare Board Design: The JYQD_V7.3B is a bare board
• Heat Dissipation:
- ≤100W motors: No forced cooling required; ensure adequate ventilation.
- >100W motors: Install heatsinks or active cooling.
4. 5V Port Usage Restrictions
• Function: The 5V output port solely supports external potentiometers or switches for speed regulation
and direction reversal.
• Prohibition: Do not connect other external devices to this port.
5. Signal Port Specifications
• Signal Output: The “Signal” port provides a 5V pulse signal proportional to motor speed (RPM).
• Current Limit: Output current is <5mA; avoid overloading the port.
Wiring Diagram
Port Description
I. Hall Sensor Port (HALL) • GND: Ground terminal for Hall sensor signals. • Ha/Hb/Hc: Hall sensor phase signal inputs (Ha, Hb, Hc). • 5V: 5V power supply for Hall sensors. II. Control Port (SET) 1. GND: Internal control ground of the driver board. 2. VR: Speed control port. • Analog mode: 0-5V linear speed adjustment (0V = min, 5V = max). • PWM mode: Requires shared ground with the driver board. 3. Z/F: Forward/reverse control. • Forward: Connect to 5V or leave floating. • Reverse: Connect to GND. 4. Signal: Motor speed pulse output (5V signal, <5mA). 5. EL: Enable control. • Enable: Connect to 5V. • Disable: Connect to GND (immediate motor halt). 6. 5V: Internal 5V output exclusively for potentiometers/switches (speed/direction control). III. Power Port • P+: DC power supply positive (+). • P-: DC power supply negative (-). • MA/MB/MC: Three-phase motor terminals (connect to motor windings). IV. Key Notes 1. Cable Length: • Avoid excessively long motor phase or Hall sensor cables to prevent signal interference.
2. Port Spacing:
• Control port: 2.0mm pitch.
• Power port: 3.96mm pitch.
3. Heat Dissipation:
• Ensure proper insulation when installing heatsinks or mounting the driver board.
