JUYI 12-48V 15A Brushless Motor Driver with FG Output & Safety Start Function

Application Fields
Remote control electric vehicles, self-balancing scooters, motorized wheelchairs, medical equipment, amusement park cars, robotics, etc.
Usage Notes
1. Ensure the motor's voltage and power parameters do not exceed the driver board's rated specifications.
2. Compatible with Hall-sensor 3-phase BLDC motors only; requires motors with 120° Hall sensor electrical angles.
3. Braking function: Regenerative braking (energy recovery). Do NOT test braking with stabilized power supplies to avoid damage.
4. 5V output port supports microcontrollers with <100mA current draw for control purposes.
5. Ensure proper insulation and heat dissipation for power components during operation.
6. Safety startup: Speed control remains locked until reset.
Resolution: Reset speed control or activate brake to deactivate.

Wiring Diagram

1. Control Ports (Right Side) - 2.54mm Pitch
● 5V: Internal 5V output from the control board.
● EL (Brake Control Port):
- Reactive linear braking with energy recovery functionality.
- Braking force is controlled by analog voltage (0-5V).
- Under constant rotational speed, higher brake voltage (0-5V) corresponds to stronger braking force (0-100%).
● M (Speed Signal Output Port):
- Pulse frequency proportional to motor speed.
- Pulse ratio depends on motor specifications.
● Z/F (Direction Control Port):
- Hard-commutation for forward/reverse switching.
- Connect to 5V or leave floating for one direction; connect to GND for the opposite direction.
● VR (Speed Control Port):
- Analog voltage speed regulation 0V-5V(0-2.5V),Linear speed adjustment from low to high.
- External PWM speed control requires a shared ground with the driver board.
● GND: Internal ground reference for the control board.
2. Power Ports (Left Side) - 3.96mm Pitch
● P+: Positive power input (12V-48V DC, compatible with lithium batteries).
● P-: Negative power input.
● MC/W, MB/V, MA/U: Motor phase terminals (U, V, W phases).
● GND: Ground for motor Hall sensors.
● HA, HB, HC: Hall sensor signal outputs.
● 5V: 5V power supply for motor Hall sensors.
3. Key Notes
● Motor Wiring Length:
- Avoid excessive wire length to prevent signal interference.
● Thermal Management:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation during continuous high-current operation.
